The Everett Animal Shelter hosts thousands of stray and unwanted animals every year. Some are adopted right away, but some sit in the shelter for weeks at a time, waiting for a home. The shelter has dogs and cats, as well as some rabbits and birds, all looking for a loving home. All pets are vaccinated, spayed or neutered, and given a identifying microchip before they are adopted. She must have a home that is free of small critters, and she will need a meet-and-greet with any resident dogs. Any children in the home must be older. Harriet is not suited for apartment living.
Harriet has had very little training — she is probably not fully house trained and is not great on a leash. She needs a secure fenced yard of her own. She has some pet when left alone but is herald trained and considers it her safe place. Shadow has not lived with other dogs but enjoys going to dog parks and meeting new friends.
